Описание: В будущем, когда научно-технический прогресс позволил полёты к далёким звёздам, с Земли была отправлена экспедиция для изучения космоса. Однако на просторах Галактики астронавты сталкиваются с силами агрессивной Галбестонской Империи (Galbeston Empire), чьи корабли не упускают возможности атаковать мирных исследователей. Главной защитой экпедиции является находящийся на борту особый отряд "Rugger Guard", состоящий из пятнадцати женщин и мужчин. Они разбиты на три пятёрки - земную, морскую и воздушную, каждый член которой пилотирует свой транспорт, имеющий возможность сцепляться с четырьмя машинами товарищей, образуя боевую супермашину. А в трудную минуту все пятнадцать бойцов формируют гигантского робота Dairugger-XV. Именно от расторопности и слаженности этих ребят зависит судьба миссии по изучению космического пространства...
