After the brief dropout the subs | | | | roll in to couple up with the snapping bass | | | | riff and were off on a heavy Virus inspired | | | | journey for the Shogun faithful to step to. | | | | Massive with the likes of Goldie, Fierce, Ed | | | | Rush and Doc Scott amongst others. Moving on | | | | to "Escape Hatch" and the vibe continues with | | | | an eerie intro awash with computer bleeps and | | | | distant tuner samples before it leaps | | | | straight into a heads down, no nonsense piece | | | | of lo-fi funk infused with the Bristol sound | | | | of yester-year. The subtle filtered b-line | | | | thumps and morphs throughout and by the | | | | second drop you have no choice but to bring | | | | out the screw-face!
