BEYOND-O-MATIC is a San Francisco based improvisational space rock band which started in the early 1990's. Core members are Peter Fuhry (vocals, guitar) and Stenzo (keyboards). Supported by several friends they work out dreamy emotional songs based on a variety of instruments where Fuhry's charming vocals are a unique aspect.
armed with a truckload of old moogs, forgotten 80's casios, hand-hewn stringed instruments, accordians, hubcaps, trash cans and lots of delay, the three beyondos plunge headlong into the sonic wilderness on this, their second offering, serving up more extended improvised works which explore the realms of beauty,' darkness, and musical telepathy, complete with imperfections and yet possessing the lightning of the moment. can you recognize the beauty of the unenhanced? do you have the courage to stare for an hour at a grain of sand? toke up, trip out, dig it.
