01. The Smile / Улыбка

Months after the dramatic events that prompted Carrie to undergo Electroconvulsive Therapy, the former CIA case officer has found a modicum of peace in her family’s suburban embrace. Meanwhile, freshman Congressman Nick Brody discovers that Abu Nazir may not be content with his nonviolent approach to affecting change in American foreign policy. And Dana lets a vital secret slip.

Against the advice of her family, Carrie becomes involved in an operation that may rid the world of Abu Nazir once and for all. Brody’s handler presses the Congressman into service, as his relationship with Jessica takes a hit. Dana visits the hospital and is shocked by what she sees there. Faber gets tangled up with the CIA when he asks one too many questions about his old friend Tom Walker. Brody agrees to work with Carrie and Quinn to stop an attack on America, but his loyalty to the United States is questioned when Gettysburg once again becomes a battleground.

07. The Clearing / Поляна

Reeling from the recent ambush, Carrie and team struggle to regain control of their operation, while Brody and family attend a tony fundraiser at a Virginia horse farm. Saul visits Aileen in solitary confinement, hoping she’ll provide key intelligence on this latest attack. Meanwhile, an anguished Dana pressures Finn to come clean about their hidden crime. But her quest to tell the truth will collide with her father’s secret mission in ways neither could have foreseen.

Saul catches up with an old friend over waffles and discovers evidence of Estes’ covert activities. Brody and Vice President Walden find themselves at odds over the future of their political relationship while Dana and Finn come terms with their own differences. But it’s Carrie, seemingly at the top of her game, who turns out to be further in the dark than anyone else.
