An album of Baroque Christmas Carols, featuring Chris on vocals and bass, and Steve Hackett on guitar and the English Baroque Choir - also included - the 1981 hit "Run With The Fox" which is not available elsewhere. Chris Squire has notched up 18 Gold Albums, 9 Platinum and 2 multi Platinum Albums and a Grammy. Bass player and vocalist of the legendary band Yes, since its inception in 1968, the only member of that group who has appeared on all the bands multimillion selling albums, performing on their hits "Roundabout" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart". Often referred to as the best bass player in the world (topping many polls over the years), also scored a million sales with his solo album Fish Out Of Water and formed the band XYZ with Jimmy Page when Led Zeppelin disbanded . Take Chris Squire, Steve Hackett, Gerard Johnson and Jeremy Stacey and you have the nucleus of a great band. Add the English Baroque Choir - conducted by Jeremy Jackman - and you have a Masterpiece of an album. Chris has outdone himself on this album. In fact, I don't believe anyone has pulled off this type of album. Yes, there's the Trans-Siberian Orchestra but this is really different. I can see Chris put alot of work and effort into this album...nothing tongue and cheek here. This is an album you can listen to year round. I highly recommend this CD to any Chris Squire fans, or fans of progressive rock. This is really something different and it comes off as a great CD.
